On Monday, America’s favorite storyteller Mike Rowe joined hundreds of Marines, Sailors, and their families at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton for a special event and free screening of his new film SOMETHING TO STAND FOR followed by a live Q&A session with the Dirty Jobs host himself. SOMETHING TO STAND FOR is the film our country needs and serves as a reminder of why Americans can be patriotic without involving politics. The film opens in theaters nationwide on June 27 and takes viewers to the frontlines of the American Revolution, World War II, the Civil Rights movement, and more.
“It was an honor to gather with so many Marines, Sailors, and their families and share a film that honors the American spirit, along with the heroes who helped shape our country,” says Rowe. “This movie is landing just in time for Independence Day, and I hope it will serve as a reminder that America still has much to be proud of, much to be grateful for, and much to celebrate.”
