Erica Campbell is a Multi-Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award-winning singer/songwriter as part of Mary Mary and as a solo artist. She’s an author and host of Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell heard each weekday morning in Atlanta on Praise 102.5.

This week, Erica is celebrating her first #1 single as a solo artist. “Positive,” which was released in March, is currently is on the top of both Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart and the Mediabase Gospel Radio chart.

“Positive” is the first single from Campbell’s album scheduled for a Spring 2023 release.

Erica explained that the message behind “Positive” is about reclaiming the word – in particular Philippians 4:8 – and finding inspiration in hope and faith.

“You know, a lot of people are struggling and how you think about your life determines how you live it out. What you say to yourself about yourself is really important. Waking up and making a determination to say, ‘I’m going to live better, focus on what I can do and recognize what I cannot, not put such a stamp on the bad days in my life.’

“I wrote the song during the pandemic. There’s power in all of our words and I wanted to infuse the world with the power of positive.”
