WE’RE SO BLESSED: FORTY DAYS OF DEVOTIONS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
CAIN, the sibling trio, announces the upcoming release of their family devotional We’re So Blessed: Forty Days of Devotions and Activities for the Whole Family (K-LOVE Books) on February 18th. The devotional is geared toward helping families recognize God’s hand in daily life and realize how truly blessed they are as children of God. Preorder the book here.
CAIN is the band of three siblings – Taylor Cain Matz, Madison Cain Johnson, and Logan Cain. Growing up in rural Alabama the Cain family was a unique and beautiful experience that offered many childhood memories, family traditions, and spiritual guidance from their parents. Today, CAIN travels worldwide to perform its songs and inspire people everywhere, and no song has inspired others like its hit single, “I’m So Blessed.” The impact of this song on listeners of all ages, motivated CAIN to take the song’s central message and craft it into a devotional that can help foster intimacy with God and one’s family.
“If you could have been a fly on the wall in our quaint childhood home, you would have witnessed the beautiful chaos in which we Cain siblings grew up,” share the CAIN trio. “Working on this devotional took us back to our wild childhood full of memories, great laughter, and light. And every bit of that is due to our intentional, loving parents and pastors, Charley and Shari Cain. We were the direct beneficiaries of God-centered family time, and now—as we’ve grown older, gotten married, and have had children of our own—we feel the challenge of establishing God as the head of our own homes.”
CAIN adds, “Our prayer is that through these daily readings, both our own families and yours can glean from God’s Word together, notice the blessings of God together, and experience memorable moments and conversations together. This devotional is designed to be enjoyed together, and it is written in a way that is attainable and meaningful for all members of the family.”
This devotional follows the group’s first lyrical picture book I’m So Blessed (B&H Publishing) released last year. The CAIN family has grown by two in recent months as Taylor Cain Matz welcomed their second child in October and Madison Cain Johnson welcomed their second just this past weekend. The group will be on the TobyMac Hits Deep 2025 tour that kicks off next week. For all tour dates, click here.

In addition to “Rise Up (Lazarus)” their single “I’m So Blessed” has also recently received RIAA Gold® certification. Raised in Hartselle, Alabama as pastor’s kids and now residing in Nashville, CAIN – Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – got their first break opening for Dave Barnes at a show in 2012. Now more than a decade later, they’ve headlined their own tour, along with sharing the stage with Chris Tomlin, Zach Williams, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, the K-LOVE Christmas Tour, and performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. The group also hosted the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards. CAIN recently wrapped their first very successful headlining tour, the “Live And In Color Tour” with Katy Nichole and David Leonard.
They’ve hit No. 1 back-to-back on the radio with their first two singles, “Rise Up (Lazarus)” and “Yes He Can,” both songs from their first full-length album Rise Up. Additionally, their viral single “I’m So Blessed” took over the streaming front, amassing more than 65M streams to date worldwide. Because of its social media popularity, more than 200,000 people have created their own videos using the music of “I’m So Blessed,” accounting for 400M additional views on social media and growing their social media reach by 185%. This song has been the inspiration for a new children’s book written by the band that will be released in August 2024, as well as a devotional release in early 2025.
In their career to date, they’ve won a K-LOVE Fan Award for Top Breakout Single “Rise Up (Lazarus)” and other recent nominations include Group of the Year, TV/Streaming Impact, various other KLOVE awards, numerous Dove Awards, and an American Music Award (AMA). CAIN also received multiple nods for the GMA Dove Awards, including five nominations for the 2024 Dove Awards. They recently premiered their very own television show on TBN called, Chasing CAIN, which highlights the realities of life as a touring family. Their latest release, Jesus Music, is out now, with a deluxe version of the album, Jesus Music (Deluxe) released this summer (June 28, 2024).
It has been said that if you spend five minutes with the members of CAIN, you’ll feel like you’ve spent the afternoon in the sunshine. Pouring their joy into their music, CAIN has discovered what it’s like to live their calling while doing their favorite thing – singing about Jesus.”
