Team River Runner Atlanta Memorial Day Remembrance
Around 60 veterans, including their families and volunteers got together to remember the fallen service members over the Memorial Day weekend.
Beginning with a rendered befitting tribute, followed by a meaningful celebration of life.
Memorial Day 2023 was a day of remembrance, fellowship, and community with Team River Runner Atlanta. They gathered together at the Cartecay River in Ellijay for a Memorial Day ceremony and fellowship on the river.

Team River Runner’s Mission
To provide all active duty, veterans and their families an opportunity to find health, healing, community purpose, and new challenges through adventure and adaptive paddle sports!
Team River Runner is the LARGEST adaptive and therapeutic paddling program across the nation for veterans, active duty and their families. Focused on our mission statement TRR has developed and implemented creative, healing and empowering programs for Veterans as they recover from complex issues due to their service to our nation, pioneering the design and construction of adaptive paddling equipment to empower veterans with motor disabilities as well as innovative methods for teaching and guiding the visually impaired. All programming is free of charge for veterans and service members.
