DESCRIPTION:City of Marietta Independence Day Celebration \nPresented by Superior Plumbing \n \n  \nSaturday – July 3\, 2021 \nGrab your American flag\, put on your red\, white and blue\, and celebrate America’s independence July 3rd\, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. with an Independence Day parade and celebration on the Square presented by Superior Plumbing\, free live concerts\, arts and crafts show\, food\, carnival games and the City of Marietta fireworks finale. Throughout the day\, more than 80\,000 people are expected to celebrate on the Square with great food\, fun activities\, the best arts and crafts around and free entertainment from Bogey and the Viceroy\, best known for their upbeat party music. Concerts are presented by 94.9 The Bull. \nParade \n The Marietta Independence Day parade is scheduled to include more than 100 entries with more than 30 floats and approximately 2\,000 participants. Entries include marching units from the City of Marietta\, civic organizations\, beauty queens\, scouts and local businesses. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church and travels west on Roswell Street\, north on East Park Square past Glover Park and the Square\, down Cherokee Street and ends at North Marietta Parkway. \nCrafts\, food and carnival \n\nArts and crafts show with nearly 80 unique handcrafted vendors: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.\nFood concessions: Anything to please the palate from ice products to cool you down to corndogs and BBQ to satisfy your appetite. 10 a.m.-9 p.m.\nKid’s Zone – huge interactive kids play area: 10 a.m.-dark; tickets for games available at booths located throughout the park\n\n  \nEntertainment schedule \nStage in Glover Park \n\n\n\n\n\n12 noon – Scott Thompson\n2:00 – Bell ringing ceremony\n2:15 – Float Award Ceremony\n2:30 – 3:30 Atlanta Concert Band\n7- 8:00 – Scott Thompson and Friends\n8-9:30 – 94.9 The Bull presents Bogey and the Viceroy\n9:30ish – Fireworks\n\n\n\n\n\nThe City of Marietta Fireworks \nThe City of Marietta fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be shot from the First United Methodist Church parking lot. DESCRIPTION:40th Annual Cartersville Fourth of July Celebration \nSunday\, July 4\, 2021\nDellinger Park \n \nCARTERSVILLE\, GEORGIA \nSponsor:                Presenting Sponsors: The Rotary Club of Etowah and City of Cartersville \nWhat:                    The July 4th Celebration at Dellinger Park is a community- wide event that includes Arts & Crafts\, children’s activities\, entertainment and a huge firework show!!  All activities are at Dellinger Park on the football field.  Park activities start at 3:00 P.M. and continue until 10:00 p.m.  Century Bank of Georgia stage will showcase music all day with concert starting at 8:00 p.m. featuring Peachtree Station and ending with a huge fireworks celebration. Bring a chair and help celebrate our nation’s birthday! \nWhen:                   Sunday\, July 4th; 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. \nWhere:                  Dellinger Park – Cartersville\, GA.  From the North or South: (I 75): I 75 to exit 288 (Cartersville-Main Street) (from the north turn right onto Main Street)\, (from the south turn left onto Main Street); go through the 6th traffic light and the road will bear to the left onto Etowah Drive; go through 1st traffic light at West Avenue; go through 2nd traffic light at Old Mill Road; Cartersville Primary School will be on the right after passing the school the road will fork take the right fork onto Pine Grove Road the park will be .6 mile on the left. \nAdmission:           FREE \nParking:                $10.00 per vehicle \nAttendance:           15\,000 people \nFireworks:             Thanks to City of Cartersville\, Bartow County and Century Bank of Georgia we will again have a huge firework display.  Fireworks will launch from Dellinger Park about 9:30 p.m. \nKid’s Zone:           An Enormous Kid’s Zone will feature huge inflatable slides\, obstacle courses\, bounces\, Quad Euro Bungee and more.  There will be a petting zoo\, pony rides and even camel rides. \nFree Concert:        Century Bank of Georgia Stage will feature acoustic sounds from Scott Thompson and then Peachtree Station will start at 8:00 p.m. and take us on a musical ride until fireworks!! \n  \nVIP Tables:           Don’t want to worry about getting a great spot for the concert and fireworks? Then purchase a VIP table for $200.00 – seats up to 10 people – reserved for you to claim anytime and includes a reserved parking space.  Link to forms available at www.etowahrotary.com/4th-of-july or contact our office. \n  \nParade-Sat July 3:    The WBHF- Radio and Rotary Club of Etowah 4th of July Parade will begin at \nthe Tabernacle Baptist Church promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday July 3rd.  The parade is presented by Shottenkirk Honda.  This year’s Grand Marshalls are the healthcare workers of Cartersville Medical Center and their families.  The procession\, which leaves Douglas Street\, turns right onto Church Street\, then continues to make a left on Bartow Street\, left on Main Street\, left on Tennessee Street and left on East Church Street.
